parking is past the house, straight ahead.  Dont park up at the garage or block the access to the garage

Any damages to the property or furnishings, any mess requiring cleaning above and beyond the fee already paid, any charges billed to the owners of the Lock Keepers Cottage due to the actions of you or your guests, and/or any evidence of rule violations<br />
by you or your guests (occupancy limits, age, animals, smoking, parties, events) will be paid by you and any litigation, if necessary, will be handled in Washington County, MD where the property is located.<br />


you can bring an infant, but the house has a lot of small objects/decorations that children could get into, be aware, and we have no childrens items

I will send you the door code and more detailed driving instructions a few days before check in.  The lockbox is on the upper porch on the side door.

outdoor dining table/chairs and hammock are put away for the colder months

There are carbon monoxide detectors plugged in on all three floors, DO NOT unplug for your safety. (basement, dining room & upstairs hallway)

 TV  has a ROKU device.  You can log into your netflix, youtube, apple, etc. accounts

My name is Rorke, I currently manage Lock Keepers Cottage and Springhouse 1803 vacation rentals.  I am also a realtor.  I specialize in historic homes in both my real estate business and vacation rentals.  In my opinion you just cant beat a good ole house!  Love my dogs, old houses, gardens, antiquing, almost anything "old", and of course family and friends.
